Breaking news!

Readers of a certain age will be...what's the right word...Bemused? Delighted? Frightened? to find out that the now 40-something members of New Kids on the Block are reuniting and planning a tour. With all new music no less!

Apparently, there is now a substantial market for Gen-X boy band hysteria nostalgia concerts. And I thought this was a phenomenon destined to die with Boomer-era rockers like Jerry Garcia and Mick Jagger (who, by the way, is still competing with Steven Tyler as ugliest man to ever front a major rock band). Apparently not...

Wow...pretty sure they didn't have "the right stuff" when they were out originally...are the original members of menudo getting back together too? Maybe we can get tickets......to sell on ebay. Blah. :P

Ah yes, but they are still "Hangin' Tough" after all these years, aren't they!

I don't know if them hangin tough after all these years is admirable or pathetic. ;)

Pathetic is probably what I'd term it. I mean who among their former teeny bopper fans is going to actually admit to being a New Kids fan and buy tickets? But then, I can't understand the appeal of the Rolling Stones either.
