As I contemplate the passing American political scene, it occurs to me that a great many people voted for Mr. Obama thinking he was John Kennedy reborn. It's too bad then that, as is becoming increasingly apparent, he is actually Jimmy Carter minus the Sunday School teaching.

I always thought Carter was the worst president (and I'm not sure he's Christian, but he sure doesn't seem to know what the Bible says and claims Mormons are Christians), but Obama has usurped that role in just six short months. Jimmy is now #2!
